Hi I’m Emily!

I’m a girl in my late twenties looking for the road less travelled and he’s a guy in his early thirties looking for the same.

We met in grad school (i chased him down the hall after class because he “says” he was playing hard to get) and now we have a dog and live in the suburbs. it all happened pretty quickly. Which is why i started this blog – it’s nice to have something to look back on.

I bake the sweets and he cooks the savoury and one day we have dreams of opening up our own cafe – in the meantime, we make do with feeding each other.

In my spare time I love to run, write, take pictures and I’m a journalist in training. I love stripes, folk music, children’s literature and bright colours.

I have wild heart and this is my take on modern love.

I’d love to hear from either on here or through email:

Emily xoxo

  1. This comment is completely out of context, and it’s one which should have been posted a few hours ago (I was busy) but I have ‘nominated’ you for one of those award thingys, which also translates to ‘I promoted your blog to my followers because your posts are awesome.’ Check out the post to see what the deal is. Congratulations and spread the love. Yay

  2. I just stopped by to thank you for “liking” my recent blog post. (Well, not that recent now, but I am getting caught up. 😉

It always gives me a lift. So, thank you!
